'Clematis the President' is one of the large-flowered clematis and blooms with full, purple-blue flowers. It blooms twice a year and therefore makes a beautiful focal point in your garden. The first bloom is around May to June and the second bloom is between July and September. After the clematis has given flour for the first time, it is best to cut it back to allow it to bloom again for the second time.
